  • qEEG Diagnostic Testing for AD/HD

Dr. Pomeroy announces availability of quantitative EEGs for diagnosis of AD/HD. An updated software program quantitatively and objectively analyzes electroencephalogram (qEEG) data to aid in the assessment of AD/HD.

We have the equipment in our office to do this test. An Initial  Intake visit is necessary, to determine if the test is indicated for any given person. The test takes about an hour, most of which is adjusting the cap measuring device over the scalp to obtain the EEG tracing. The results are available within a few weeks, and will be discussed at a Review visit, in which Dr. Pomeroy will review all the information collected with patient/parents, offer his diagnostic impression and suggest a Plan of treatment.
