Dr. Pomeroy announces a change in the results now reported on quantitative EEGs. An updated software program quantitatively and objectively analyzes electroencephalogram (qEEG) data to aid in the assessment of AD/HD.
In other words, we now have the equipment in our office to do this test. An Initial Intake visit is necessary, to determine if the test is indicated for any given person. The test takes about an hour, most of which is adjusting the cap measuring device over the scalp to obtain the EEG tracing. The results are available within a few days, and will be discussed at a Planning visit, in which Dr. Pomeroy will review all the information collected with patient/parents, confirm his diagnostic impression and suggest a Plan of treatment.
